The Statutes of the Nikola Tesla Institute (1939)

(Dragisa Cvetkovic) Statute with Legal Force for the Foundation and Organization of the Nikola Tesla Institute. Published by the Tesla Institute in Belgrade in 1939. Good/VG condition. $125

This was an institute founded in 1936 at the University of Belgrade in honor of Tesla (1856-1943). 20x13.5 cm, 19pp. Pp 1-14 are taken with the official language ad stipulations of the institute, and from 15-19 we find a list of important dates int eh life of Tesla as well as one final page detailing his patents. Original wrappers. VG copy. Provenance: Library of Congress, with their small stamp at upper right front corner, plus their 6mm perforated "LC" at bottom of the title page. Nice copy of a scarce publication: WorldCat/OCLC locates only four copies (2 in the U.S.), one at Oxford and the other in Australia. Comes with two copies of the work's Library of Congress card catalog cards.
