A quick glance and this caught my eye: "Filling the gap in freedom's fence."
To be completely free we must be completely fenced in?
Sometimes a fence is just a fence. But not in this case, evidently, what with allowing tactical bombers in through the gaps. Maybe we were fencing people "out"?
